04 – 08 July 2026

SCHLEUDERGANG EINTAUSEND is a self‑supported, fixed‑route ultracycling adventure, which starts simultaneously in Dresden and Nuremberg, with a meeting point‑Czechpoint that can be tackled in two distances – 1000 km and 500 km.

The 1000‑kilometre routes connect both cities, while the 500‑kilometre routes cover a portion of the loop from one city to the other. All routes meet at least once at a shared Czechpoint in Bohemia. At our community Czechpoint, riders from all directions can meet, rest, and chat before continuing on their way.

The routes are all‑road, mainly asphalt, with sections of gravel and forest tracks that make the ride varied. Over the entire distance you can expect roughly 14 000 m of elevation gain through the Saxon Switzerland, Ore Mountains, Egertal, Fichtel Mountains and Franconian Switzerland.

It is not a race. There is no podium, no support, no shortcuts. It is a challenge for you. You decide when you ride, when you rest and how you get through.

Calling all FLINTA*

Ultracycling is a boundary‑pushing experience, but the hurdles should be on the route, not in the system. We know that participation in self‑supported events often raises additional safety, hygiene and visibility questions for FLINTA* participants.

In our organizing team there are FLINTA* people who know some of the challenges, but not all. We want SCHLEUDERGANG EINTAUSEND to be as safe a space as possible for FLINTA* and to ensure that there are FLINTA* contact persons at the checkpoints as well as retreat rooms and sanitary areas that guarantee privacy.

If there are topics missing that prevent you from signing up, write flinta.1000 [at] schleudergang [dot] org directly.

Infos & FAQ

Registration & Fee

To register you first purchase a ticket in our shop. The categories are FLINTA*, MALE and PAIR. With the registration confirmation you receive a link to a participant questionnaire including terms and conditions and the bank details for the participation fee. Once we have received your questionnaire and the fee, we send you a registration confirmation and you are officially signed up.

The participation fee is €99 per person until 28 Feb., afterwards €129. In return you receive tracking on the public live map, the GPS track as a GPX file with a roadbook, checkpoints staffed by Schleudergang volunteers, and a merch package.

We try to keep the fee as low as possible to enable everyone to take part. This is only possible thanks to the dedicated unpaid work of our volunteers. The exact scope of services therefore depends on the final budget.
